Terms & Conditions

By using our Website, you expressly acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you place an order with Cakes & Cravings by Preethy or access the Website, these Terms constitute a valid contract between you and us under applicable laws.
Cakes & Cravings by Preethy reserves the right to revise, modify, or update these Terms without prior notice. Continued use of our Website constitutes acceptance of any changes.

We are a home based or a cloud based studio that is not subject to routine health and safety inspections. Please order at your own risk.
Desserts offered on this website contain sugar and other ingredients; their consumption is entirely at the customer’s own risk.
We do not provide medical or nutritional advice and do not endorse consumption of sugar by any individual. Customers are responsible for ensuring the products are suitable for their dietary preferences or health conditions.

Photographs, reference images, and design descriptions on the Website are for illustrative purposes only.
Custom cakes and desserts will not replicate reference images 100%. Variations in color, shape, size, and design are normal and must be expected as part of the handmade nature of our products.
- Product serving sizes are approximate and subject to slight variations.

A 50% advance via Cash, Zelle, or Venmo is required to confirm orders.
Once confirmed, pricing is locked and will not be subject to change.
Changes to design or pickup time must be requested at least 4 days in advance. Requests made after this period may not be accommodated.

Delivery times provided are estimates. Delays may occur due to traffic, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances outside our control.
Risk of product damage passes to the customer once the order has been delivered to the specified address or to the delivery agent.

Significant preparation and planning begin well in advance for every order, including design consultations and ingredient sourcing. Our cancellation policy is as follows:
Cancellations made one week prior to the scheduled order date will receive a refund of the booking amount minus a $25 service fee.
Cancellations made within one week of the order date will result in forfeiture of the booking payment.
Cancellations made one day prior to or on the pickup date will require full payment of the order.
In the rare event that we must cancel an order due to an unavoidable medical or family emergency, you will be notified promptly and a full refund of the booking amount will be issued.

No refunds will be issued once the product has left our possession.
Full payment is needed before the cake is picked up.
We are not responsible for damage caused after pickup, including but not limited to improper handling, storage, or transportation.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cakes and Cravings by Preethy shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damage arising from the use of our Website or the purchase of our products. Our total and maximum liability under any and all circumstances is limited to the value of your order.
We disclaim responsibility for allergic reactions, health complications, or any harm caused by the consumption of desserts ordered from us.

Proper handling is essential to preserve the quality and appearance of your cake.

We strongly recommend two people for cake pickup, with one person holding the cake securely on their lap during transport.
Cakes should be refrigerated if not served within a few hours of pickup.
Buttercream cakes should be brought to room temperature 1–1.5 hours before cutting.
Whipped cream cakes must remain refrigerated until just before serving.
Cakes exposed to heat, outdoor conditions, or direct sunlight may melt or lose structure. For outdoor events or venues such as entertainment centers, please plan pickup accordingly or ensure refrigeration is available.
During transport, place the cake box on a flat surface, maintain a cool car temperature, and never store the cake in the trunk.

Cakes and Cravings by Preethy LLC is a home-based, owner-operated business. All baking, decorating, and administrative communications are handled personally.
While every effort is made to respond promptly, please allow up to 24 hours for responses to emails and messages.
We appreciate your patience and understanding, especially during peak order periods.
