Baking with Passion and Love
Hi! I’m Preethy Subramanian, the founder and cake artist behind Cakes & Cravings by Preethy, a luxury home bakery based in Prosper, Texas. While I also work a full-time IT job, baking has always been my true passion — my kitchen is my happy place, where I experiment, create, and sprinkle a little magic into everyday life.
My professional baking journey began in 2024, inspired by my daughter’s first birthday. Searching for the perfect cake introduced me to a world of bakers, whose creativity sparked my own. Captivated by the art and joy of baking, I decided to pursue it full-time alongside my career. Since then, I’ve refined my craft through self-taught techniques and countless hours of practice, continually pushing the boundaries of flavor and design.
Every cake I create is fueled by the love and support of my family — my wonderful husband, our two children, and our dog — my biggest cheerleaders and endless inspiration.
